The Telangana Innovation Cell (TGIC) has exchanged memorandums of understanding with 18 colleges across the state under its Host Institution programme, a move to take its innovation work beyond Hyderabad.
How the programme works
Each host college sets up an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell and becomes the local contact point for TGIC programmes. The colleges will run awareness sessions, help students and local innovators engage with industry, and support them in developing ideas.
Where the colleges are
The 18 host institutions span the state, including University College of Engineering in Kothagudem, Sumathi Reddy Institute of Technology for Women in Hanamkonda, R.B.V.R.R. Women's College and St. Joseph's Degree & PG College in Hyderabad, JNTUH University College of Engineering in Rajanna Sircilla, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women in Rangareddy, and Government Degree College in Wanaparthy, along with colleges in Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
