Early-stage venture firm Endiya Partners and T-Hub have released the Hyderabad Innovation Report 2026, which describes the city as a diversified innovation hub rather than a single-sector IT centre.

The report was unveiled at the Hyderabad Capital & Startup Forum 2026, held at T-Hub under the theme "Scaling Hyderabad: The Next Phase of Innovation" and attended by more than 225 people.

The headline numbers

  • More than 10,000 startups in the city.
  • Over $3 billion in venture funding since 2014.
  • 400+ Global Capability Centres, close to 20% of India's GCC base.
  • The second-largest technology talent pool in the country.

Where the growth is

Beyond software and GCCs, the report points to emerging strength in biotech and life sciences, AI, defence and space. That matches the city's recent funding pattern, where a spacetech company produced the largest round of the first half of 2026.

Why it matters

For founders deciding where to build, the report is a useful snapshot of what Hyderabad now offers: capital, corporate buyers in the GCCs, and talent. For the city, it is a benchmark to measure the next few years against.
